When I first saw it I thought it was fake. Then I realized someone had drawn on the bill. HAHAHHAAHA! My head is throbbing. I've had no sleep this weekend as usual and my head nearly blew up during NLS when I was trying to pick a 20-pound brick off the bottom of the pool, which was two feet deeper than where I usually swim. I didn't think it would make that much of a difference, but I guess I spent longer underwater, too. Damn air pressure. I've never liked science and I still don't. I hate school. I can't believe I've waited until my last year, when everything actually COUNTS, to start slacking. Its due to the nature of the work and my schedule. First period off, and classes with a bunch of ISUs (SOOO easy to put off), and temporarily no lunch (which would usually be 4th period) because I'm doing a T.A. placement which I enjoy a lot, but four classes in a row is tough even if one of them isn't for marks. When I come home from school, I feel OBLIGATED to rest my brain (eat, watch tv, nap). I've been thinking so hard since 9:40a. put my homework off 'til at least 10, and I don't really start to do solid work until about 11:30. So I falter. Woe is me. Just spare me this grief and send me to university already! I went to Uni Fair. I think my current choices would be Western and UT (tied), Waterloo, and then Laurier and Queen's (tied). And maybe Macmaster, because they only want a 70-78 for poli sci, whereas everyone else wants at least low 80s (which should still be no problem at all, but I'm so lazy right now so who knows, it might be one). I wish school ended BEFORE and not ON December 19th. Then I could've gone to ski at Tremblant (Dan's organizing something). POOH. But its okay. The music trip this year is going to be either Banff(!) or Whistler(!!!!!) and I skied in St. Donat (which is like a stone's throw from Tremblant) this past February so I'll live. But it would've been SOO majorly fun. So POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to school, but you knew that already. 24 September 2003Webbyness» The Chatter of the Geekysexycool [10:50 PM]

I feel like a train wreck. My poor legs and lower back are so incredibly sore, I am SO TIRED, and the whole nine yards but alas. I am good. Waterloo was a blast. I will have to go again soon! There's a new TGS! It's so wiggidy wack. 19 September 2003Life or Something Like It» P.A. DAY!!!!!!! [02:41 PM]
I'm blogging from Steve's compy right now because I am at UW. It has been very fun so far. I took the Greyhound and got here at 9ish. I met up with Alex (he's so champ; woke up early on his day off just to make sure I didn't get too lost and he doesn't even go to UW!) and I went to the poster sale. I think I might go back later today and get some stuff but I'm not sure ("Boys are stupid", "Finding Nemo", "Breakfast at Tiffany's"). Steve's apartment is so cool. Its brand new, too. They have rainbow tiles (I am SO not kidding!) and a really stinking cool entertainment system, but no cable. But who needs cable when you have a compy hooked up to the tv and networked with all the other computers? You can watch downloaded tv episodes without commercials! Oh and they have not one but two NORMAL fridges, not the minifridges. I want two big fridges when I get my own apartment. And rainbow tiles. I'm going to meet up with Ally when she's done class, which should be in about an hour. YAY!! Did I mention I'm dead tired? I've been up since a little after 5 and I went to bed at 2 this morning. Maybe I should take a nap. 15 September 2003Webbyness» Good Grief [06:13 PM]
My page turns up as result #2 on the first page if you search Shakira pants rip on Google. The weekend was fun as usual. Got home after 2 on Friday/Saturday. I keep doing that now, coming home well after curfew. My mom is finally getting used to it. SUPER! >=D I did a lot of thinking yesterday while redying my hair red. I've come to the conclusion that I am fucking insane to take 1 + 4 + 5 + 1.5 = 11.5* courses in my senior year when I only need 1.5 more to graduate and 6 to get into university. I (very reluctantly) got a parking pass today because I'm thinking about dropping Calculus (period 1 this semester) and Algeo and Canadian & World Politics (periods 1 and 5 next semester) and there is no way in hell I'm going to take the bloody yellow bus if I can sleep in and sleep in and leave early. Speak of the devil: my morning bus was 11(!!!!) minutes late and my afternoon bus was 15(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) minutes late today. And my morning driver this year is alway 5-7 minues late every morning. Fucking hell! Can people not do their jobs promtly? If I'm on time or ONE fucking minute late the bus is gone. Now that I'm early every morning (its taken 3 long years to get my morning routine down, heh) the bus is fucking LATE. Geeeeeez. I've started a new project: a photo album! The pictures from Ryan's birthday are up and hopefully I will add more pictures from time to time. The layout is a very boring default MT template because I'm lazy for now. But in any case, ENJOY! =) * How am I taking twelve courses when I only need six more credits? 11 September 2003Webbyness» GO TO HELL!! [09:38 PM]

I was the only person to get mail today: a Gillette Venus razor from Young Drivers (a "graduation gift" for completing YD apparently; I should ask other YD grads if they go this too!) and a paystub for my last week of work, which I wasn't expecting to get paid for since it was the week of the blackout and I wasn't even at work. The razor is the same as the one I use, except it's pink and mine is blue, so mine is automatically cooler, hands down. We also got a new all-in-one printer/scanner/copier Unfortunately, I am not as giddy about my data management performance problem/task thing which is due tomorrow. I have to find three websites and a data table that proves the thesis "chewing gum helps digestion." I don't mind the course; it seems straight-forward enough (I really enjoyed the whole first week working on Fathom), but I am having difficulty with being assigned a random topic and having to find data on it, which doesn't seem to exist, or at least doesn't want to be found my me. =*( 7 September 2003» Demi-goddess [08:00 PM]
This is my first entry on my new compy. She is a demi-goddess (because I cheaped out on the video card, and because I'm a goddess ;D) and my new baby girl. My guitar is very jealous, but she is still my baby girl, too. For the nerdy types--all the new stuff was from Canada Computers @ Pacific: ASUS A7N8X-X, Athlon XP 2500+, 512MB DDR333, 80GB HD, LG CD-RW, LG DVD-R (death to combo drives!), MSI GeForce FX5200-128MB w/ remote, Windows XP, and my old peripherals minus the webcam (no XP driver available... BOO!) but that's okay because I have my eye on a new one anyway. I wanted to get a sexy Antec LANBOY case (and rename it LANGRL), a UV kit, and a fan or two but I'm too broke as it is so I settled for a boring case and put all of the nice stuff on my Christmas list. ;) I was playing with the boxes (that's the GREATEST part about getting anything new... THE BOX!) that my mobo, videocard, and processor came in and they all came with stickers "powered by blahblahblah", and it reminded me of the "Type R" and "TRD" stickers on cars. I thought to myself, Why bother souping up your car when you can soup up your compy?! ;) Friday was fucking WICKED! For Ryan's birthday, we all went to Swiss Chalet and spent like 3 hours there. We had a huge long table (a bunch of small ones put together), the cake, and the whole nine yards. All the waiters and waitresses came out singing and clapping and we caused a huge scene. Then we took the party up to Jono's house. It got chilly (we were outside most of the night and even when I was inside I wore a t-shirt, a hoodie, and a borrowed sweatshirt) but it was still majorly superfun times. =D I got home well after one and I was pretty pooped. Will post pix soon (my camera battery has been dead for a while but James had his brand-spanking new digicam there so all was great). Today I went to the North York Central library to look through microfiche for a World Issues assignment. That stuff is soooo darn neat. I am veryveryvery excited about PA Day. Until then, I'm going to find Ally a neat-o dormwarming present and play with my new compy. 3 September 2003Life or Something Like It» My Last First Day of High School [08:30 PM]
I am still in summer mode. I had no homework last night, and very minimal tonight (binary search proggie for Comp Sci which I'm done and a factoring sheet for Calculus that I'm nearly done). Classes were and usually are a bore, so I won't go into extreme details. Yawned my way through Calculus, World Issues, and Data Management. Lunch: Russ, Mikey, Sam, Nick, and I went to Tim Horton's and the mall. Mikey mooned the masses walking along McCowan to the mall (Russ was driving), so we got pulled over by a ghost cop car, and Mikey got a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt. I think the cop was somewhere between exasperated and just a tiny tiny eeensy weensy bit amused. Besides lunch, Comp Sci is the other highlight of my school day, because I am geeky. 8D Then I went home and napped, went to the mall again, and watched O.C. (Adam Brody!!). I missed the first 20 minutes or so but its okay because Ally is taping everything! Speaking of the sock-rocker herself, ALLY CALLED ME JUST NOW! I almost peed my pants because I missed her call yesterday. Her internet hasn't been up yet and her Neo poster is creased (WOE IS US! *wails and weeps*), but she is otherwise having a blast at UW meeting cute engineering boys and sporting her new hard hat. I told her how Mrs. Patel (my DM teacher, her Algeo teacher from last semester) asked about her and we were both like "aww!" The end of the summer was so sad. Alex and I were driving around town slightly aimlessly (we went to Pacific then Fairview then Popeye's) on Monday evening. I watched the sunset in the rearview mirror when we stopped for gas, and Alex was like "That's your summer back there, and that," *points to the front where its darker* "is the new school year." And its sooo true, but the warm glow of my computer monitor hooked up to my new compy (which will be here next Tuesday!!!!) will make the school year just a little less dark. ;) |
