[08:36 AM]

MAN! I wish I bought the D & G poster when I saw it in Waterloo. =( Now I want to buy everything off the site!

People are STILL(!) talking about Friday and my jacket STILL smells like food, but now mixed with chlorine from the pool. I need to remember to pick up some Febreeze.

Music Department Bowling Tournament today! Lia and I are going as M & Ms.

I hate word problems on chooses/combinations whatever they're called. BAH. I want to be SMRT!! =*(

» GOOOOD MORNING =)

[08:03 AM]

I wish my webcam still worked because my haircolour is AWESOME! I dyed it last night after NLS because I'm taking my graduation photos today.

I also have swim practice and jazz rehearsal tonight. EEEEEP. =X

I wish I could have 36 hours in a day. That way I could work for 24 of them and still sleep for a whole whopping 12 hours.

I am becoming increasingly annoyed by the dumbass brick. I tried it 6 times last night and I couldn't get it. I'd either drop the brick or if I didn't, I wouldn't be able to make it back to the surface with it, nevermind towing it back, too. However, my Pia carry and whistle blasts are getting to be quite wicked, if I may say so myself. =)

I HATE BEING A WEAKLING AND I HATE THE STUPID BRICK. GRRRRRRR.

We are doing objects in CS now. YAY!!

Ally: did you know that your "All In A Row" game is featured on the Computers dept website? I saw it and I'm like "THAT'S ALLY'S GAME!!!!!" teehee.

» The Expected Weekend Report

[12:04 AM]

My weekend is working out to be OKAY so far. JUST OKAY???! Yes. JUST OKAY.

Last night (Russ' birthday shindig at Jono's) was WAY too much fun. >;D I say WAY because I hadn't had that much fun in a while. This WAY too much fun was much needed (not to mention deserved, in my humble opinion!) since I'd been so tense and stressed out the past week and a half. Unwinding was a big relief. I woke up this morning and my clothes smelled like the little breakfast sausages that we were cooking in the hut and my hoodie had pizza sauce smeared all over it. I remember eating both foods, but I had no idea I was such a sloppy eater. It was probably because it was dark. And I peed in the forest again, something Julie and I are forever acclaimed for, strangely enough. Just because we're not guys doesn't mean that we're willing to walk 10 minutes back to civilization to use a toilet. I'm simiply far too lazy to be inconvenienced like that.

TODAY was pretty good. I woke up, did my laundry (re: smells and pizza sauce), ate breky, and returned my library books in North York. Then I shadow-guarded with Robin at Centennial and it was a lot of fun because I pretty much knew all of the guards who were working that shift except for one. Another guy from my NLS class was there too, so fun stuff all around. :) Then I came home and started a never ending pile of homework, which I've been working on all evening and I will continue to for the remainder of this evening. Its a fucking homework buffet. GAH. >=( I hate being behind in everything. Playing catch-up sucks. At least I get an extra hour tonight.

Tomorrow I have NLS. I have a presentation and an assignment due. And I'm going to TRY very hard to remember to turn my lights off (something I failed to do last week, and consequently, my battery was dead when I came back out and I had to wait half an hour for a boost. WOE WAS/IS ME!!!). And I'm going to try reallyreally stinking hard to get the evil, evil 20 lb. (MORE THAN a fifth of my weight!) brick off the bottom of the pool and tow the damn thing back. GEEEZ. I can do a Pia carry but I can't retrieve and tow a stupid brick. In my nightmares, I see yellow 20 lb. bricks. THEY'RE EVERYWHERE. =O

So that is why my weekend is just OKAY. I don't mind just OKAY weekends (balance between extremes is important), just the less fun part of them. ;)

» It's Linting!!!

[10:20 PM]

This evening I had my rehearsal as usual. I parked my car as Brennan and Colin pulled up, so I waited for them and we all went in together. Very suddenly (I can't emphasize SUDDEN enough; they just APPEARED, like in SMW2 Yoshi's Island when the snow just APPEARS) it started snowing huge chunks of snow (duh) but they were so big and fluffy and awkward looking that I freaked and thought it was lint. Hugeass clumps of dryer lint falling from the sky. Imagine that, huh? Quite terrifying to say the least.

Brennan and Colin had just been golfing so they brought Mr. Taylor a chunk of turf. We now have a Turf Award.

[05:02 PM]

I'm in such a lazy mood right now and as a result, I really don't feel like going through my programs and notes, even though I should seeing I have a practical test tomorrow for CS. Maybe I should do what Ally's friend Chris did and study for six hours to get a can of soup. Mmmmm sooooouppp... ! Doesn't quite have the same ring as Mmmmmmmmuffins (you know, the place in the food court that sells muffins and coffee and such?). I want soup now. SOUP! SOUP! SOUP!

» And So It Goes *stab*

    [10:26 PM]

I've never been more mentally and physically exhausted in my life, nor have I ever been in so much continuous physical pain my entire life.

I want to go to Waterloo this weekend and go to the Sloan show with Ally and HER FRIEND *WINKWINK*. I'd need a fake ID really stinking fast and seeing I'm broke, I'll just wait 'til the Toronto show. I've had my ticket for that one since the day after it went on sale. =D

    ALLYRULESTHEWORLD!

Will someone please buy me a brand spanking new Jeep TJ since I'm so nice and polite, not to mention cute? If not a TJ then a pound or two of Jelly Bellies will do.

Being gelatinous form right about now would be quite nice.

V8, Montreal smoked meat, mayo, lemons, eggs.

    2. Name five things in your freezer.
Michelinas, ice cream cones, ice, frozen wontons, perogies.

    3. Name five things under your kitchen sink.
Sponges, garbage can, plastic bags, dishwashing stuffies, dustpan.

    4. Name five things around your computer.
Music stand, Jelly Belly dude from Adam and kangaroo from Ikea (on top of my monitor), CDs, Palm IIIxe (hahhaaha) in its cradle (on my desk).

    5. Name five things in your medicine cabinet.
I don't have a medicine cabinet so I keep all my stuff on my counter: Freeman's cucumber and watermelon skin peel, contact lens solution, a wide array of hair styling products (gel, sparkle hair spray, sculpting gluey shit), calcium supplements, tea tree oil.

» It's 5 am. Do You Know Where Your Mind Is?

    [05:05 AM]

Woot woot for not having class until 11 this morning.

I'm getting a nasty case of carpal tunnel in my right wrist.

Tina has typed up 25 pages World Issues notes of 3 chapters and higlighted them using 8 highlighters in 6 different colours. She has also reviewed all 5 sections of chapter 4 for Data Management by doing review questions and going over homework questions she missed since she failed a mock quiz today. After studying that much, in how many ways can she fail on 4 different evaluations in 2 courses on 2 non-consecutive school days? nPr THAT, bizzznatch! >=6

My little French-pedicured toes are dreadfully cold so I'm wearing my Pikachu slippers.

It would be nice if people made use of the wonderful commenting feature more.

I'm not as crazy as I sound. I'm just... scatterbrained.

Alex: I'll (try my best to) make you proud.

» I'll Be There With Bells On

    [02:23 AM]

Sloan @ the Kool Haus, Nov. 7. WOOTfuckingWOOT!!!!

This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for a long weekend. It's been a pretty good one so far. Church semi-formal last night, went to the library to work on a World Issues seminar this afternoon, hung out with Jones and Sam tonight (uberfun!! >=D). Now I'm going to work my ass off for the rest of the weekend trying to catch up and keep my head up above this sea of work that I'm drowning in.

And everyone's back this weekend!!! Ally, Alex, Steve for starters. YAY!!

Stuff to worry about this coming week or so:

  • WI midterm
  • WI seminar
  • DM test (I got my first one back on Friday and I wanted to cry)
  • CS test (ugghhh I'm lagging behind in that class so much)
  • NLS (brick! *dies*)
  • Swim practice starts (GO BLACK INK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Ongoing weekly: trumpet (a sectional, a lesson, two rehearsals), web club, Maverick, The Voice
Ongoing dailiy: TAing in an ENG4U1 class during my lunches (which I actually enjoy a fair bit so I won't count it as a burden)

I don't sleep much anymore. I always tell myself that I'm going to catch up on weekends but I end up sleeping LESS on weekends than I do during the week (which isn't much for starters).

I think I lost weight. I clocked in at 93 today and if I remember correctly, the last time I weighed myself I was 98. I don't understand where all the food I eat goes. I'm constantly eating (before school, in class, at lunch, after school, snacking until dindin, and munchies after dindin). I figure it went to wherever socks and cute thongs go when you put them in the dryer and they are never seen again. No wait... the underwear gnomes are responsible for that. UGH I'm too tired.... *clunk*.

    » 'Cuz I Know I'm Your Konstantine

    [11:28 PM]

    «ALLO, ALLO!»
    «ALLO, ALLO! Oû sommes-nous rendezvous?»

Friday was fun (as always!). I finished my homework (‘cuz I’m a good girl >;D) and then I went to meet Ryan at SportMart. Then we went to Chapter’s and hung out there while waiting for Jones (my brother from another mother!) to finish his shift. Then we headed up to Jono’s birthday shindig. En route, we ran into Sam, Sean, AJ, and Leanne, so we detoured and took them home/wherever they needed to go, reconvened at good ol’ Timmy’s, bought a huge box of Timbits, and resumed course. We got there without getting lost (yay for driving caravan style! =D I can drive back no problem but I’m worried about getting lost on the way up. Strange, isn’t it?). All of us + Family Guy DVD box set + bubbly... and some other stuff + HUGEMONGOUS bagel = memorable times. ;)

Ally's got me hooked on SoCo! I’m looking for the piano score for "Konstantine" (it is such a GORGEOUS song!). I hope it comes in sheet music because I don’t have $30-$40 for the whole book unfortunately. =*( Or maybe I could just sit down and figure it out, but I’d rather just get the sheet for it.

    Something Corporate - "Konstantine"

I can't imagine all the people that you know
and the places that you go
when the lights are turned down low
and I don't understand all the things you've seen
    but i'm slipping inbetween
    you and your big dreams
    it's always you
    in my big dreams

and you tell me that it's over
wake up lying in a patch of four leaf clovers
and your restless, and i'm naked
    you've gotta get out
you can't stand to see me shaking
    no
    could you let me go?
    I didn't think so

and you don't wanna be here in the future
so you say the present's just a pleasent interruption to the past
and you don't wanna look much closer
cuz your afraid to find out all this hope
you had sent into the sky by now had crashed
    and it did
    because of me

and then you bring me home
afraid to find out that you're alone
and i'm sleeping in your living room
but we don't have much room to live

I had these dreams that i learned to play guitar
    maybe cross the country
    become a rock star
and there was hope in me that i could take you there
    but dammit you're so young
    well i don't think i care
    and if i hurt you
    then i'm sorry
please don't think that this was easy

    then you bring me home
cuz we both know what it's like to be alone
and i'm dreaming in your living room
but we don't have much room to live

and konstantine is walking down the stairs
    doesn't she look good
    standing in her underwear
    and i was thinking
    what i was thinking
we've been drinking and it doesn't get me anywhere

my Konstantine came walking down the stairs
and all that i could do is touch her long blonde hair
    and i've been thinking
it hurts me thinking that these nights
when we were drinking no they never got us anywhere
    no

this is because i can spell konfusion with a k
    and i like it
it's to dying in another's arms and why I had to try it
it's to jimmy eat world and those nights in my car
when the first star you see may not be a star
    I'm not your star
    isn't that what you said
what you thought this song meant

and if this is what it takes
just to lie in my mistakes
and live with what i did to you
and all the hell I put you through
    I always catch the clock
    it's 11:11
and now you want to talk
    it's not hard to dream
    you'll always be my konstantine

konstantine, they'll never hurt you like i do
no they'll never hurt you like i do
no, no, no no no no no no

this is to a girl who got into my head
with all the pretty things she did
    hey
    you know
you keep me up in bed
this is to a girl who got into my head
with all the fucked up things i did
    hey
    maybe
    baby
you could keep me up in bed
    my Konstantine
spin around me like a dream we played out on this movie screen
    and i said
did you know i missed you?
did you know i missed you?
did you know i missed you?
did you know i missed you?
did you know i missed you?
did you know i missed you?
did you know i missed you?
    oh god i miss you

and then you bring me home
and we'll go to sleep, but this time, not alone, no no
and you'll kiss me in your living room
    i know
you'll miss me in your living room
cuz these nights i think maybe that i'll miss you in my living room
    we don't have much room
i said does anybody need that room?
because we all need a little more room
    to live

    my Konstantine

    F5
    » CARS yeahyeahyeah!

    [09:15 PM]

I thought I'd do my F5 before I go out for the evening since its actually worth doing this week (the questions are so stupid sometimes).

    1. What vehicle do you drive?
    '89(!) Toyota Corolla in champagne.

    2. How long have you had it?
Since I was 3, so... 14 years! HAHAHHAHAA its almost as old as me!

    3. What is the coolest feature on your vehicle?
Its called the Champmobile T and its loud and I don't have to put money into it to make it loud. And it is its very own anti-theft device. ;)

    4. What is the most annoying thing about your vehicle?
It dies on me sometimes. LIke the other day I was parking at school and it just DIED. I had to put it into park then start it again to finish parking. Ooops! And my signaling thing makes weird "ERRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!" noises when it's mad at me. And it just doesn't GO fast enough sometimes (ie. when I'm trying to merge on the freeway. EEP!)

    5. If money were no object, what vehicle would you be driving right now?
A brand new black Jeep TJ with a tan top. I guess it would be the hardtop now since the weather is kinda chilly. In the summer it would be the vinyl top (or no top!) and no doors. =) And my license plate would be STELLAR.
