Life or Something Like It
» Fobamorphosis

[09:46 PM]

I got myself a late Christmas present yesterday.

It is so cool compared to my old phone (big but extremely flat Quallcomm beast). It has Tetris and a 1X browser. It also has all this cool voice reconigition stuff so I can be like James Bond (well, Lara Croft in my case ;D) and call people without even touching my phone while chasing bad guys in my Jeep TJ Champmobile.

Since my dad knew the guy at the Bell World at Markville, he threw in car charger and headset. WOOT; I am all for free stuff, epecially $70 worth of it. ;)

Today I got a phone sock from One's for it, after I saw Steph's and Galen's. Now I want to get a dangly trinket thing of stars with white rhinestones or a dangly Tigger wiper thing for the screen. OOOH actually I have a dangly guitar that Steve got me a while ago (its official fob swag from Hong Kong, lol!), but I don't know if I want to open it. And the stars match my phone sock because it has stars on it.

This weekend was pretty fun. Friday: went to Power King at Peachtree w/ Ally, Steph, Gina, Galen, Eric, Elton, Samson, Samson's bro, and Pierre for "seew yeah" at 11. Went home, grabbed some stuff, crashed at Ally's at about 2. SUPERFUN!! Yesterday I woke up reallyreally late at Ally's, went for brunch at Timmy's, went home, went to Bell World, came home, started programming phone numbers and then I got sick and everyone was either working or out of town so I watched tv and went to bed.

It is my mom's, Ally's, and Chris' birthdays today!!!

I'm so excited because Dylan's coming from Vancouver tomorrow!!!

Thank you to all you beautiful people who paid homage to the Material Girl Herself! She loves your presents and appreciates your thoughtfulness very much. =)

My dad got my mom a digicam so I took pix of my presents. If the pictures still seem small after you click the thumbnails, try turning off the image resizer thingy after you click the thumbnails (mouseover until you see the button appear and then click it), but they should be fine for the most part.

[09:39 PM]

When all through the house
Tina was moping, watching tv
And being a brat.

>;)

I'm eating the last piece of chocolate from my advent calendar right now. Ally and I exchanged presents today. She got me a bear wearing a red hoodie that says "Someone at UW loves me!" IT IS ADORABLE, NOT UNLIKE US. ;) Vicki: I got your present too! xoxo. However, I have yet to open it.

Still debating whether or not to get a new phone, and quite peeved about the severe lack of snow, which is inhibiting snowboarding plans. It's warming up to the point that I think Hallowe'en was colder than this.

Jeri Ryan is hawt, kinda like me and Angelina. ;)

[05:20 PM]

I think I have arthritis because my joints hurt. I am too young and too active to have arthritis. =*(

I am completely unmotivated to do any school work, and my apathy bewilders me. I'm not supposed to be in slacker mode until midterm next semester, but this is the only way I've felt since before the school year even started.

Playlist (its really short these days):

  • "Kokomo" - Beach Boys
  • "I Was A Kaleidascope" - Death Cab For Cutie
  • "Never Meant" - American Football
  • "Konstantine" - Something Corporate

In the car: mixed disc (LOTS of Guster, Lola Ray, really old Saves The Day, SoCo).

    Life or Something Like It
» And Reruns All Become Our History

    [10:04 PM]

I've always had a hunch that I grew up too fast, and now I know for sure.

I found out that Linkin Park are playing the ACC January 24. A tiny bit of me was like OMFG!!!!!! but an overwhelming part of me felt indifferent. This makes me sad, since they were my favouritest (lol) band only a short two or so years ago. I'd always say that seeing them live was one of the two things I'd have to do before I could die happy and now I don't think it matters anymore. (The other thing was see the Goo Goo Dolls live, which I've done already. =D AND YES, GGD MATTERS A LOT. STOP LAUGHING. I SAID, STOP LAUGHING. *punches* I TOLD YOU TO STOP LAUGHING.) And I still get sooooo worked up watching the DVD. But I don't know, everything's different and I'm sad. =(

I feel so incredibly despondent. I haven't started shopping and I don't have plans to (note: this differs from "I don't PLAN to."). There are a few things I need to pick up for a few people but I'm just not in the mood to think of what gifts to buy them. I used to love doing that, planning so carefully what to buy for whom. The art of giving. I don't find happiness in that anymore.

On a brighter note, Jason found me a score for "Konstantine" by SoCo. I've been playing it a lot. It's so beautiful and so sad. I LOVE it.

WILL SOMEONE PLEASE TAKE ME TO KOKOMO? THAT'S WHERE I WANT TO GO TO GET AWAY FROM IT ALL.
