Life or Something Like It
» Supervixen!

[08:03 PM]

I've been doing my civic duty of giving my economy a shot in the arm, thanks to my very fabulous U of T Mastercard (MC #2 baybee!). Useless (well... I definitely didn't NEED them) things that I have acquired:

  • an epilator
  • a two pairs of Steve Maddens
  • bras from LaSenza
  • a Hurley messenger bag
  • random lip glosses from the Body Shop
  • a vaccuum cleaner (Stop rolling your eyes. It's very cool looking and it was on sale!)

Things that still remain on my shopping list:

  • a laptop
  • these books, dvds, cds
  • Clinique and Benefit counter ho-downs
  • whatever else tickles my fancy

Besides maxing out credit cards and working and listening to a lot of Garbage (self-titled), I've been studying for my CS midterm, hanging out with cool cats like Vanessa and Alex, and watching The Corporation (thanks Alex!). And Bewitched, which was incredibly cute!

    Life or Something Like It
» A Dark New York Alleyway In Toronto

    [04:25 PM]

For the past two weeks or so (well, all of the week before and some of last week), I've been walking past the set of Bruce Willis' new film, 16 Blocks. Pretty neat stuff. I didn't actually see him, although I did see many a NYPD officer, yellow taxi cabs (with New York plates), and New York fire and ambulance vehicles (with Ontario plates, to my disappointment).

Other than that, I've been insanely busy and exhausted. Work, school, hang out with people.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith is highly reccommended. Angelina Jolie <3 <3 <3, Brad Pitt, AND ADAM BRODY! He is still the "awkward" guy, just like Seth. There was a part when he does a "thumbs up" to a camera (in the movie) and only Ally and her friends Sonya and Nicole and myself laughed out loud (and I do mean loud) in the whole theatre, because it was just so something Seth would've done. I am convinced he will be forever typecasted in to that type of role. Not that I watch the OC or anything (honestly, I have only seen the first four episodes of season 1).

Madagascar had its moments. I highly suggest sitting through all of the closing credits.

Unionville Festival was a lot of fun. Vanessa and I went through all of the little jewelry booths and I bought a pinky ring. We had dinner at a Greek restaurant and then headed back out for the fireworks.

MARKHAM VILLAGE FESTIVAL NEXT WEEK (still is and ALWAYS will be the most dangerous gig of the year)!!!!!!!!!!!! MSS Music alumni: Ally and I are going, joiners (MSS Music or not) welcome!

And I changed my mind about moving again. I'll be in Markham for the rest of the summer, moving back to Toronto in the fall.
