Even a sprained ankle didn't stop me. But trust me, the ankle is a-stopping me now. Laura and I had lunch at Le Trou Normand in Yorkville, Godiva for desert, and did a bit of shopping. I sprained my ankle when we got back and I was on my way to the library to study. It got better after awhile, so I continued with my plans (because really, there is no point in sitting on your ass and feeling miserable when you've got the dress, the shoes, the reservations, and a ticket). Preparty at Paaeez was amazing. We had the private room at the back. It was gorgeous and so were we; much fun was had and I did it all without making a mess The ball itself, as always, is overrated, but that's the whole point of going right? I enjoyed it, but I think the whole "going out" beforehand part was very important because I really don't care to get all dressed up just to (literally) walk downstairs. 1 November 2005Idioglossia» Concert envy (among other things) [09:41 PM]
