When I was in the dorm, we used to have fire drills at 3am... and my roommate and I would wake up, brush our hair, slip on jeans and a jacket, and put in our contacts before going outside. :D No one else took the drills seriously either since the alarms in our building were constantly going off at all hours of the day and night for no apparent reason. One time the alarm down the hall from our room went off for 10 minutes straight before the campus police came to stop it.
